Penthouse Atlântico

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful place for 6 days and we could not have asked for a better stay! The apartment has AMAZING views! It was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We spent lots of time on the balcony people-watching and also enjoying the sunset each night. Keep in mind, this apartment is up a fairly big hill then up some steps. It is not for the faint of heart BUT I would book here again in a heartbeat!

The location and views from the apartment are really fantastic. We had been to Carvoeiro before, but never with this great view. We had a great time, and actually didn’t want to leave. The studio is not big, but fine for 2 people. Beautiful views over the bay and over the sea – so beautiful to see the color of the ocean change during the day and at sunset. Parking in front of the door was very easy, and it is a short walk down to the center with all the restaurants.

This apartment is one of those rare places where the location and view is even better than it looks on the listing. It is a calm, peaceful and beautiful spot, with magnificent sea views (we watched the sunset from the balcony each evening). Yet it is only a three minute wander down to the bustling and friendly town with a gorgeous beach and some great cafes, restaurants and shops – including gorgeous local pottery and kitchenware. A walk along the boardwalk provides fantastic views of the cliffs and coastline.

Can’t fault it, won’t fault it in fact the only fault in the whole process was that we didn’t book it for longer 🤣. We loved it, taking a cheeky glass on the patio are to watch the sun set and a coffee in the morning to see the rise – just listening to the waves crash on the shore was exactly what we wanted. The centre is about 100mtrs down hill. The property was superb, very well appointed and very comfy – I travel a lot for work , but have to say had some of the best nights sleep in this lovely boutique apt. If it’s available book it – just lovely!

The short story: if this is available, BOOK IT.
I have stayed in many places around the world and many AirBnBs, this one was by far the best. The view was breathtaking, the apartment was pristine, and Caroveiro was great. I highly recommend checking out Elisa’s website since almost any question we had could be answered there (restaurants, bars, beaches, etc.).
Whenever we come back to the Algarve we will make it a priority to stay here again.
